An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected construction business delivering quality projects across the South Coast.
We are seeking a commercially astute professional to take ownership of two live projects located in Worthing and Lancing, with a combined value of approximately £7 million. This role offers a great balance of site involvement and flexibility, with a requirement to attend the Southampton office once per week and the potential to work from home one day per week depending on workload.
Key Responsibilities
* Full commercial management of two concurrent construction projects
* Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management
* Valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Maintaining strong financial control and reporting
* Liaising with project teams to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ideally based in or around the Chichester area
