An exciting opportunity for a Quality Lead to take ownership of quality standards in a Mechanical and Climatic Test Laboratory. This role acts as the UKAS Quality Manager, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and maintaining accreditation across a wide range of environmental testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and maintain UKAS accreditation (ISO 17025)
* Conduct regular audits and manage non-conformance processes
* Collaborate with local teams to ensure testing quality and compliance
* Oversee quality for both test and internal calibration activities
What You’ll Need:
* Background in Quality Assurance/Quality Management
* Knowledge of environmental testing and/or calibration
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* (Desirable) Experience with UKAS and ISO 17025
* (Bonus) Familiarity with DEF STAN 00-035 or similar standards
* Bonus up to £2,500
* Up to 14% pension contribution
