This role helps people reduce their risk of future falls and fractures, making a real difference to long‑term health and independence.
You’ll work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to people who have experienced fractures or are at risk of osteoporosis. The role focuses on assessment, prevention and education, helping people understand their health and make informed choices about their care. Your work will support safer outcomes, better recovery and improved quality of life.
What you’ll do:
* Assess patients for falls and osteoporosis risk and plan personalised care.
* Provide clear advice on treatment, medication and fracture prevention.
* Work closely with colleagues across services to coordinate care.
* Keep accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
* Support learning by contributing to audits, training and student supervision.
What we’re looking for:
* A registered adult nurse with post‑registration nursing experience.
* Confidence in communicating complex or sensitive information with empathy.
* An understanding of evidence‑based practice in falls or fracture prevention.
* Ability to manage your own workload and work well within a team.
* Willingness to keep learning, with training and supervision available.
