As an Inventory Manager, you will oversee and optimise inventory operations, reporting directly to the Director of Operations at our Cardiff dispensary. Your responsibilities include managing stock levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring seamless supply chain processes. Your analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our commercial, brand, and regulatory teams.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Analyzing consumer data to review sales trends and forecast buying patterns.
2. Monitoring costs and managing stock plans to maintain optimal inventory levels.
3. Preparing and issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and ensuring accuracy.
4. Reacting to marketing activities to support future planning.
5. Serving as the main contact for supply chain inquiries with Commercial, Brand, and Regulatory teams.
6. Collaborating on packaging and product design improvements with the Brand team.
7. Ensuring compliance with laws, standards, and ethical guidelines in partnership with the Regulatory team.
8. Supporting new and existing product development plans.
9. Streamlining processes and administrative functions for efficiency.
10. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
* Extensive experience in inventory management, supply chain, or procurement.
* Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and trend forecasting.
* Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
* Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance in supply chain management.
