LOCATIONS
We deliver programmes in North, South and East Bristol as well as South Gloucestershire
RATES
£14 – £20 per hour depending on position offered within delivery team.
22-30 hours per week depending on role, up to four weeks of delivery during the period.
* You would not need to commit to working all the 4 weeks of the programme; however, participation in our programmes changes on a weekly basis and to ensure continuity to our young people we would give priority to applicants who could work all the delivery days in any week.
Manager, Head Leader and Assistant positions available

Each programme comprises a Manager, Head Leader and one or two Assistant Leaders, depending on the number of participants
All successful applicants will be contracted to Unique Voice on a Freelance basis following safer recruitment checks which includes having (or obtaining) a satisfactory child workforce enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
All roles require the ability to form an effective working relationship with team members and participants.
ASSISTANT LEADER: Supporting Managers and Head Leaders throughout by completing activities as requested. Role requires knowledge of workshop plan and structure, understanding of policies/procedures
HEAD LEADER: Responsible for facilitating the main activities by delivering the Unique Voice provided scheme. Thorough knowledge of workshop plans and structure and skills to guide participants using Unique Voice behaviour management strategies and policy guidelines.
MANAGER: Overseeing the programme and being main point of contact for parents/carers and programme/management teams. Thorough knowledge of workshop plans and structure and skills to guide participants using Unique Voice behaviour management strategies and policy guidelines. Awareness of safeguarding and of particular children who may need additional support
Required skills
We welcome applications from candidates who have:
* Experience of working with children or young people
* Ability to build an authentic rapport with children and young people
* Ability to empathise with the different needs and concerns of children and young people
* Are engaging, fun and imaginative
* Are flexible, reliable, punctual and are able to work effectively within a team
* Have an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willing to undertake a new Enhanced DBS Check and register with the Update Service. Unique Voice is approved to process this on your behalf (charges will apply)
* Awareness of safeguarding
* Willingness to carry out company policies, in particular with regard to safeguarding and child protection
* Are willing to work as a self-employed facilitator and be responsible for your own declaration to HMRC
Unique Voice are ACE Ambassadors and we would be particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience using trauma informed approaches. We also encourage applications from people with lived experience of the subject matters we explore within our programmes.
