We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths tutor, covering GCSE (AQA and Edexcel) and A-Level (Edexcel), to deliver in-person group tutoring sessions on evenings and weekends. These sessions supplement our students' full-time studies and provide focused, exam-oriented support in small group settings. These sessions are open to both internal and external students.
The role requires you to plan and deliver high-quality group tuition to GCSE and A-Level Maths students, helping them build confidence, consolidate understanding and achieve the best possible outcomes. Sessions will be aligned with the relevant exam board specifications.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of an upper second-class degree (or equivalent) in Maths or a closely related subject from a strong university, with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills. Qualified Teacher Status is desirable, as is experience as an examiner or head of department. A proficiency in helping students surpass grade boundaries through targeted exam technique is essential.
