Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sign & Vehicle Graphics Designer to join our in-house team. This role is focused purely on signage and large format print — not web or marketing design.
You will produce accurate, production-ready artwork for vehicle graphics, sign trays, panels, banners, window films and general signage. The role also involves coordinating artwork approvals, colour confirmations, and ensuring production deadlines are met.
This is a full-time, on-site position. No weekends or bank holidays. On-site parking available.
Responsibilities
* Design and prepare artwork for:
* Vehicle graphics & wraps
* Sign trays & ACM panels
* Banners & large format prints
* Window graphics & vinyl lettering
* Health & safety signage
* Produce print-ready files with correct:
* Scale
* Bleed
* Cut paths
* Colour specifications (Pantone where required)
* Create customer visuals and proof sheets for approval
* Manage artwork revisions efficiently
* Chase customers for:
* Colour confirmation
* Logos in correct format
* Missing brand guidelines
* Approval sign-off
* Ensure colleagues know when artwork is approved and ready for print
* Maintain organised file structures within our internal system
* Store and manage customer colour references and brand assets
* Assist with production planning by communicating clearly with print and installation teams
Experience & Skills
* Strong experience using Adobe Illustrator (essential)
* Experience designing for large format print and signage
* Understanding of vinyl application, panel sizing and real-world scale
* Ability to set up accurate cut paths and layered production files
* Good working knowledge of Pantone vs CMYK for print accuracy
* Organised and detail-focused
* Able to manage multiple live jobs simultaneously
* Clear communicator with production staff and customers
Experience with or similar workflow systems is beneficial but not essential.
