Overview
Nairn Integrated Health and Social Care Team is seeking a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to join the team for 28 hours per week. This is a seven‑day service, with shifts from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm over four days (subject to change). The post is based in our 16‑bed ward providing care for a wide range of conditions including day cases. The ward ethos is to promote self‑care, independence and timely discharge, along with delivery of palliative and end of life care. The ward works closely with the wider Primary Health and Social Care Team. We are seeking a team player who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide care for patients in a 16‑bed ward, supporting day cases and a range of conditions.
* Promote self‑care, independence and timely discharge; assist with palliative and end of life care as required.
* Work closely with the wider Primary Health and Social Care Team.
Qualifications
* SVQ 3 trained.
* Team player and able to work in a busy environment.
Eligibility
The role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
