The role
As a Welfare Benefits Officer you will be a part of the Income Team. You’ll be there to provide a dedicated welfare benefit and debt advice support service to Regenda customers and help sustain tenancies. Contributing to the delivery of an effective and efficient income customer satisfaction levels, maximisation of Regenda tenants’ income, sustainable tenancies and the financial stability of The Regenda Group.
The right fit
* Experience of delivering welfare benefit, debt and grants advice and support within a social housing context is essential.
* You must have an understanding of the rent arrears management process.
* You’ll be able to effectively balance the need of the customer and the organisation.
* Ability to prioritise your workload to meet targets and deadlines.
* You’ll have excellent communication and customer service skills both written and verbal.
* You can identify, build and maintain key external and internal relationships.

Regenda Homes is an award-winning Registered Social Housing provider with around 12,000 homes in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. We provide additional support to residents including finding work, money advice or dealing with anti-social behaviour.
