Liverpool Women’s NHS FT became part of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHLG) in November 2024, following the coming together with Liverpool University Hospitals NHS FT. UHLG was born from a shared aim to improve the care we provide to our patients.

Job Overview
This post is to strengthen the existing team of Gynaecologists at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital. The team provides care to women across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, and the Isle of Man.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the provision of general gynaecology, including emergency gynaecology, outpatient general and special interest gynaecology clinics.
* Provide inpatient elective gynaecological surgery both major and minimal access.
* Participate in the provision of emergency gynaecology, including being part of the ‘hot week’ team for general gynaecology.
* Contribute to medical education for undergraduate and postgraduate doctors.
* Lead on the development of new pathways and support the senior management team in shaping the future strategy of the gynaecology services within a special tertiary centre.
