Product Planner Vacancy reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The Product Planning Team plays a vital role in creating and defining the Triumph motorcycles which will become the icons of the future to sit alongside such historic legends as our Bonnevilles, Rockets, Tigers, Speed and Street Triples. We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to use their knowledge, creativity and passion for motorcycles to make a significant contribution to the new product development process.

Product Planner Duties and Responsibilities:
12. Initiate and develop new model and accessory product scopes, specifications and product information documents in conjunction with the Head of Product
13. Motorcycles and Chief Product Officer.
14. Liaise with the Stylists and Design department in the development of the motorcycle design.
15. Prepare clear and concise research reports on competitor products and existing market and customer trends.
16. Liaise with and assist the Market Research team in the creation of research which give deep and meaningful insight into the customer needs.
17. To represent the voice of the customer in project meetings and discussions with other departments.
18. To work with the pricing team in the development of the price and market position of the product.
19. To liaise and assist the marketing team in the creation of marketing assets
20. To undertake and assist with projects as required by your Manager.
21. Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your Manager.
Product Planner Person Specification:
22. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent and proven relevant experience.
23. Data rational and be able to identify customer preferences by analysis of available data.
24. Willing and able to travel across Europe around five times per year
25. Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
26. Excellent communication skills, including with technical and nontechnical audiences.
Product Planner Hours of Work: 39 hrs per week. Monday to Friday.
