We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, driven, tenacious Account Manager to join our Travis Perkins Managed Services social housing team. Our team provides contract solutions with Social Housing contracts, offering a bespoke service to suit the needs of the customer.
Location: This is a hybrid role where you will be based from home with regular travel within the South East
Start Date: January 2026
What you’ll do:
A dedicated Account Manager for one of our big contracts, you will be driven and approachable, taking ownership of the ongoing strategic and customer management. The focus includes developing a strong client relationship across the breadth and depth of an organisation at a senior level, as well as delivering a cost-effective value-added service.
1. Responsible for the full operational delivery of the contract and will work closely with Customer Operations Manager and a Business Coordinator to support this.
2. Identify and deliver further sales opportunities with the client.This includes the delivery of sales opportunities for other Group brands, Tool Hire, Benchmarx etc.
3. Coordinate with and support the store/branch network at Travis Perkins Managed Services customer supply locations
4. Work closely with the operational team to deliver best in class customer service
5. Responsible for the P&L
This role will be covering the South West of the UK, where an EBS Car will be included to attend weekly meetings, identifying those sales opportunities and building/ maintaining strong key relationships.
Is this you?
We will need you to have extensive account management experience along with a strong sales background. Industry experience isn’t essential, the key to success in this role will be through your communication, customer focus, negotiation and people skills. Experience with public sector clients would be beneficial.
