Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics / Internals Supervisor to join a high-profile new-build hotel development in Plymouth. This is a key site-based role with a strong emphasis on logistics coordination, alongside supporting the delivery of internal fit-out works.
Your role as Site Supervisor will be to lead the on-site Logistics Team and assist with supervision of the subcontractors. You will be the appointed person on site so there will be occasions where you will be working by yourself as well as part of the fit out and snagging team.
The position is scheduled to commence in May 2026, with an initial duration of 6–12 months, and potential for extension depending on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate all site logistics, including deliveries, site access, traffic management, and material distribution
• Manage and supervise the logistics team to ensure efficient site operations
• Support the management and coordination of internal trades and finishing packages
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure works are delivered on programme and to specification
• Assist in maintaining the overall construction programme and site workflow
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
• Conduct quality inspections of internal works where required
• Liaise effectively with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
Essential Requirements
• Proven experience in a Logistics Supervisor, Internals Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager role on construction projects
• Strong understanding of site logistics and coordination on busy construction sites
• Experience working on new-build or hotel / residential fit-out projects is highly desirable
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Valid CSCS card
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
• Must be within commutable distance of Plymouth
