We are looking for a motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our Bristol office.
You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service to our customers, support in the daily running of the site and ensuring a safe work environment for all who work on or visit site.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR, AND EXCELLENT AT:
* Build good working rapport with customers, consultants and key members of the supply chain.
* Look ahead and plan all aspects of the project, identifying challenges and suggesting solutions.
* Monitor progress against programme and take action where necessary.
* Work closely with others to promote company vision, values and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Lead by example, setting exceptional standards of safety, quality and customer service, ensuring procedures are robustly applied
* Lead site meetings confidently; reviewing safety, progress, programme, quality and site coordination
* Assist Site Manager with subcontractors works, ensuring attendance on site and work is done in a timely manner with regards to quality, and minimising delay
* Control and monitor the use of labour, plant and materials, minimising waste wherever possible

EXPERIENCE
* NVQ / HNC or trade background with recognised progression through to site management
* Degree or MCIOB membership desired
* Demonstratable commitment to continuing professional development
* Site staff at Beard, as a minimum must have SMSTS, First aid at work and CSCS
