Business Analyst - Financial Reporting & Control

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst role on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be working in a small team of 3 as part of the larger Financial Reporting and Control team.

Your role will be supporting the Management Accountant with the following key responsibilities:

1. Production of accurate and timely dashboard reports and the production of weekly occupancy reports.
2. Completion of monthly and year end reporting activities.
3. Assisting with the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory returns, internal and external audits.
4. Assist the Finance and Reporting team with tasks such as Supplier and Procurement Card management and administration, Balance Sheet reconciliations and monthly management accounts support.
5. Processing requests for amendments to the chart of accounts within Agresso.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

6. Be an excellent communicator with excellent IT skills, knowledge of Excel and a high degree of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail (Essential).
7. A multi-tasker who is able to work to tight deadlines with strong written and oral communication skills (Essential).
8. Have some experience of using AI tools, Power BI or similar for financial reporting and analysis (Desirable).
9. Be able to prioritise tasks and manage conflicting demands (Essential).
10. Have a strong customer focus with a high service standard (Essential).
