Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Surface Mount Machine Operative (Electronics) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of electronic circuit boards. Your expertise will ensure the efficient production of high-quality PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, adhering to strict industry standards such as IPC 610. Job Description
· Setting up components onto manual feeders
· To conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained
· To hand fit components as and when required
· Ability to work from engineering drawings
· To maintain good housekeeping standards at all times
· To comply with health and safety policies and quality procedure

Desirable Characteristics
· Experience running Mytronic Surface Mount machine would be highly desirable but not essential
· General knowledge of electronic components and an ability to learn through on-the-job training will be key to the success of this role
· Excellent IT skills and aptitude
