About Our Client
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same - from employee relations and coaching managers to supporting wellbeing initiatives and HR projects.
Job Description
3. Acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all HR matters
4. Managing a wide range of employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, restructures)
5. Coaching and supporting managers to lead their teams effectively
6. Supporting formal HR processes, including investigations and hearings
7. Advising on terms & conditions and statutory leave (flexible working, maternity, etc.)
8. Leading and delivering HR training for managers
9. Supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives
10. Producing HR data and insights to support business decisions
11. Working with payroll and benefits providers to ensure a smooth employee experience
12. Supporting international colleagues, including occasional travel
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
13. Proven experience in a generalist HR role
14. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
15. Confident handling complex employee relations cases
16. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred
17. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence at all levels
18. Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
19. Strong IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office
