Overview
As our HR Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our people strategy and supporting our management teams through every stage of the employment lifecycle. No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for Employee Relations, offering clear, practical advice and supporting managers through all ER processes.
* Coach and train managers on best practices in people management, empowering them to address team performance and ER issues confidently.
* Collaborate with the HR and Payroll Administrator and Senior Payroll Officer to coordinate HR and payroll activities and the smooth running of the operational HR team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate journey.
* Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
* Maintain accurate employee records and provide people metrics to inform decision‑making.
* Support internal communications and help maintain our positive culture.
* Ensure HR compliance with employment law and GDPR.
Qualifications
* CIPD Qualified (Ideally Level 5 or working towards).
* Strong HR Generalist with up-to-date Employment Law knowledge.
* Proven experience providing high‑quality Employee Relations (ER) advice.
* Confident coaching managers and building trusted relationships.
* Passionate about delivering a high‑quality HR service.
* Adaptable, highly organised, and willing to work collaboratively in the team.
* Willing to work hard, embrace change, and have fun in a collaborative HR team.
* Demonstrable experience managing ER cases and providing quality advice.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong collaborative approach and ability to work cross‑functionally.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
