An established and growing law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its busy New Build Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-structured team environment.
Working as part of a sizeable residential property department of around professionals, you will provide dedicated support to a Residential Property Solicitor, primarily on a 1:1 basis, with occasional support to a second fee earner during periods of annual leave.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
6. Providing administrative and legal support to a Residential Property Solicitor
7. Assisting with New Build residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
8. Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
9. Liaising with clients, developers, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
10. Managing files and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
11. Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
12. Supporting the wider team as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
13. Previous experience within a residential conveyancing or property department
14. Experience supporting a conveyancer or residential property solicitor
15. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
16. Strong communication and client care abilities
17. The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
18. A proactive and team-oriented approach
