Our client are a highly regarded, employee-owned accountancy practice seeking an ambitious Audit & Accounts AM / Manager to join their growing team.
You would be joining a boutique firm however their client portfolio rivals that of much larger practices and the have around 50 Audits per year.
This is a hands-on position with a 70% Audit / 30% Accounts split, where you'll be involved in assignments from planning through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include -
- Leading audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Preparing statutory accounts from client records.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, with some clients under your sole responsibility.
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
- Working directly with Managers and Associate Directors on a wide variety of assignments.
- Assisting with corporate and personal tax compliance (full training provided if required).
To secure this exciting role you will need -
- ACA or ACCA qualified / QBE
- Minimum 4 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong audit and accounts preparation experience.
- Comfortable taking ownership of assignments and working directly with clients.
