Are you an experienced helicopter engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Our client, a reputable organisation supporting the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing), is hiring for a dedicated B2 Certifying Engineer to join their team in Shropshire.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Certify line, non-routine maintenance, and repairs on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft
* Provide operational support to Flight Operations
* Lead maintenance inspections and repairs under supervision
* Complete maintenance tasks including avionics and electrical systems
* Replace avionic line‑replaceable units and perform simple testing
* Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work
* Conduct off‑aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the workshop
* Assist with daily hangar operations, aircraft movement, and housekeeping
What You’ll Bring
* Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems
* Experience with specialised test equipment for avionics and electrical systems
* Up‑to‑date understanding of CAA regulations, especially Pt 145 and Part M
* Experience with flight and airport operations, line maintenance
* CAA Part 66 B2 Licence (essential)
* Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS (desirable)
* Experience with helicopter products and military aviation (desirable)
* Proven track record in flight operations and line maintenance, including certifying roles
