We’re supporting a large, private equity backed UK-wide people and services business that is mid-way through a major Finance Transformation Programme. The team needs an interim Finance Analyst to provide additional bandwidth during a busy period of change.
This is ideal for someone 2–4 years post-qualification who is strong with data, reporting, and process improvement. The role is a blend of backfill support and transformation work.
The Role
* Support the budgeting cycle and help roll forward forecast models for the next reporting calendar.
* Assist with upgrades to finance processes as part of the transformation programme.
* Help migrate legacy Excel reports into Power BI and support the move to a Single Source of Truth.
* Provide accurate month-end reporting and P&L analysis across a multisite, labour-heavy operation.
* Partner with Finance Business Partners to challenge forecasts, accruals, and contract performance.
* Deliver variance analysis, identify risks/opportunities, and support preparation of business review materials.
* Offer additional capacity during a period of heavy workload and organisational change.
Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
* Strong Excel and systems/reporting capability; Power BI advantageous.
* Experience in services, B2B, multisite, or contract-based environments helpful.
* Analytical, confident working with data, and comfortable partnering with operational teams.
