Senior Commercial & Regulatory Counsel
Up to £150,000 + car allowance + bonus
3 days/week in office in Croydon, UK
A multinational retail/consumer goods giant are recruiting for a Senior Commercial & Regulatory Counsel to join an established legal function. This role will carry a heavy focus on commercial legal work, with an additional focus on the topics of ESG, healthcare, security & sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Lead on drafting/negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
* Act as a legal subject matter expert on matters relating to ESG, healthcare & security
* The expectation is that this role will line manage one other more junior lawyer in the team in the future
* Horizon scanning - stay abreast of regulatory developments affecting the organisation
* Act as the Legal business partner to the HR/People function on all commercial agreements
Requirements
* Qualified lawyer, c. 10-15PQE
* Significant & recent experience operating in a commercial legal role - experienced in negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements
* Prior legal experience relating to ESG, healthcare or security regulations is highly desirable
