Join a specialist SEMH and SEN provision in Hillingdon as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), where your consistent support will help students rebuild confidence, develop emotional regulation, and repair relationships through restorative practices.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Support young people with additional needs including autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), PDA, and communication differences.
* Work with pupils who may be at risk of involvement with the youth justice system or unsafe peer influences.
* Use restorative conversations and trauma-informed strategies to help students reflect, repair harm, and rebuild trust.
* Support pupils in developing emotional resilience, safer decision-making, and positive peer relationships.
* Be a dependable adult who models pro-social behaviour and reinforces accountability without judgement.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing structured 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN, SEMH, and autism.
* Supporting personalised learning plans that prioritise emotional development, wellbeing, and progress.
* Using restorative approaches to address conflict — focusing on reflection, accountability, and repair rather than punishment.
* Encouraging students to build self-awareness, empathy, and communication skills.
* Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, therapists, and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
* Taking part in relational behaviour support and de-escalation training (full training provided).
Who We’re Looking For:
* Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
* Individuals who care about safeguarding, rehabilitation, and evidence-based early intervention.
* Empathetic team players who value inclusion, respect neurodiversity, and believe that every young person deserves a second chance.
* Experience in youth mentoring, coaching, or care settings is welcome — but not essential.
