Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to join our Christchurch team. In this role, you will lead the Mobility and Industrial Team to ensure the delivery of all technical deliverables (external and internal) within scope, budget, and schedule. You will also ensure that appropriate processes are implemented to manage technical risk and that performance is regularly monitored.

* Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance business performance.
* Ensure engineering strategies meet safety, cost, quality, and delivery targets, enabling effective market competition.
* Set and achieve departmental goals aligned with strategic company objectives.
* Establish and develop systems and procedures to deliver engineering excellence.
* Maintain appropriate SQEP levels for engineering functions.
* Conduct technical gateway reviews to ensure project delivery aligns with schedule, budget, and quality standards.
* Manage technical risks and issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve problems.
* Develop and track KPIs for all responsibilities.
* Deploy technical skills, resources, and systems for project delivery, including external resources as needed.
* Promote high standards through personal example and team engagement.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
