Assistant Quantity Surveyor\nTier 1 Main Contractor\nSheffield\nImmediate start\n\nJoin one of the UK’s leading Main contractors as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and build an iconic scheme in Sheffield\n\nOur client is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable construction company delivering high-quality residential developments across the region.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Assist with the preparation of budgets, cost plans and valuations\n\n * Support senior surveyors with subcontractor procurement and tender analysis\n\n * Monitor and manage project costs and variations\n\n * Assist with monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and forecasting\n\n * Support the management of subcontractor payments and final accounts\n\n * Contribute to risk management and value engineering initiatives\n\n * Ensure compliance with company procedures and construction contracts\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Working towards or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (HNC/HND also considered)\n\n * 1+ years' experience in a similar role with a house builder, contractor, or consultancy\n\n * Strong numerical and analytical skills\n\n * Excellent communication and organisational abilities\n\n * Profi...
