Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Job Description Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom activities and maintaining a safe and organised learning space Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience Understanding of SEN and experience working with children with additional needs Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN strategies and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in safeguarding and first aid Working Conditions: Full-time hours, temporary position Working in a school environment with children with SEN Opportunity for further training and professional development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
