Description
The Legal Counsel will be:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements with a focus on media and trading arrangements
* Providing clear and practical advice on contract interpretation and supporting early-stage dispute resolution
* Partnering with internal stakeholders on contract negotiations, including risk assessment and mitigation
* Identifying and clearly communicating key contractual risks and differentiating levels of exposure
* Supporting training initiatives to improve contract awareness and compliance across the business
* Assisting with the implementation of best practice processes in contract management and governance
Profile
The Legal Counsel should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
* Confident communicating legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
* Highly organised with strong ownership and attention to detail
* A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
