About YouTo be considered for this position you must be able to:
* To provide support, advice and guidance to families facing challenges by providing help to overcome barriers to education.
* To ensure that a child(ren) has/have full access to educational opportunities liaising with school campus staff and external agencies (as and when may be required) for additional support delivering teaching and learning across the curriculum, for a pupil(s)requiring home tutor support.
* To assist in planning, review and delivery of the curriculum (either as individuals or in small groups) maintaining compliance with safeguarding, health, safety, welfare and emotional and behavioural protocols when working at the student’s home address or on the campus site.
* To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve joint-planning with teachers, preparing and delivering learning activities for an individuals. Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development will be integral to this role
* To ensure that academic support is happening within the context of the school’s Self-Directed Learning Philosophy
* To engage in active participation in all staff meetings and CPD
