Conference and Banqueting Supervisor / Events Supervisor

As Conference & Events Supervisor you will bring your personality and flair to provide a warm, friendly and generous service to our guests. The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver fantastic experiences for our guests, time and time again.
Responsibilities
* Motivate the team by leading from the front with confidence; being dynamic and positive at all times
* Assist in the planning, organising and control of day-to-day operation of the department thereby ensuring the established standards of performance are maintained and total guest satisfaction is achieved.
* Ensure the meeting and event rooms are set up as per function details and instructions received from the Conference Office, at all times.
* Be the point of contact for event organisers, ensuring their comfort and making sure the event is running smoothly
* Meet with organisers at the end of their event in order to solicit their opinions and feedback on our service and standards
* Make sure the team is well-trained, friendly and offers great engagement and efficient service for guests
* Be flexible to jump into any role within the C&B department when needed
What You Will Bring To The Job
* Strong leadership skills, as demonstrated in a similar role within a conference and events setting
* Warm and genuine nature, someone who can make people feel at ease
* Ability to confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests
* Promote a positive attitude and the ability to ‘make things happen’ to achieve or exceed anticipated results
* Strong organisational skills
* Fully flexible in their approach to work and able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends, including late evening events
