Key Responsibilities
As a Service Engineer, you will:
* Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on customer installations
* Diagnose faults and implement reactive maintenance solutions efficiently
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery
* Maintain and optimise operational systems to improve efficiency and minimise downtime
* Support both company-owned and third-party installations where required
* Participate in an established 24-hour callout rota
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* ONC/OND, City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* Minimum three years' industrial electrical experience as a time-served technician
* Strong knowledge of ComAp and Deep Sea generator controllers, including programming and diagnostics
* Experience fault-finding on electrical control panels
* Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings
* Good IT skills, including competency with Microsoft Office applications
* Full UK driving licence
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
This role will involve weekend working and occasional out-of-hours duties. Participation in a 24-hour callout rota is required.
