YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
1. To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel to the satisfaction of all guests needs
2. The night audit is completed to fulfil all audit and statistical information requirements for the hotel
3. To ensure the security of hotel guests and hotel as a whole and to provide services for hotel guests.
4. Carry out 2 security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety.
5. Check hotel guests in and out, and assist with luggage when required
6. Serve food and liquor to company standards
7. Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept
8. To ensure the total cash takings balance with the Opera settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure
9. Operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure
10. Order and deliver guest’s newspapers and correct charging and controls
11. Action early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down
12. Cleaning of areas as requested, including public areas, bedrooms and corridors as necessary.
13. Being able to work in a pantry serving healthy drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
14. To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law with regards to the following company regulations
15. Undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
16. Available to work between the hours of 19.30hrs and 07.30 hrs (approx.)
17. Desire and ability to learn
18. Strong communication skills
19. Ability to work alone for periods of time during the night shift due to size of building
20. Ability to organise self and multi - task
21. Flexible and adaptable
22. Attention to detail
23. Customer focused / can-do attitude.
24. Understand the Hotel / Company standards, products and services.
25. A good working knowledge of Opera PMS,is desired

28. 4 On / 4 Off (12-hour Shifts)
