A growing multi-entity organisation is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys improving systems and processes, and can deliver accurate financial information under tight deadlines.
Key Duties
·Producing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
·Controlling and reviewing purchase & sales ledgers, petty cash, and card transactions
·Completing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
·Posting payroll journals and maintaining working papers
·Managing inter-company transactions
·Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
·Preparing VAT and regulatory returns
·Supporting the statutory audit process
·Contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
·The successful candidate will be a part-qualified or ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified accountant
·Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V/H lookups)
·Experience with ERP or business management systems (Xero/Navision desirable)
·Excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
·Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information
·A commercial mindset and a willingness to adopt a hands-on approach
