Role Purpose:
Demand Planning is part of the GB Planning & Commercialisation Department, which includes Commercialisation, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Materials Planning, Allocation, and Deployment.
The Demand Planning team leads the Sales & Operations Planning process within the GB BU to proactively identify and resolve demand-supply imbalances, manage demand signals across product portfolios and customers, and support an accurate supply plan to maximize service at minimum cost.
The Professional role in Demand Planning focuses on developing and maintaining sales forecasts for a group of SKUs and customers, supporting the monthly S&OP process, ensuring forecast quality, and driving actions to resolve supply issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute demand planning and forecasting activities for assigned customer portfolios.
* Maintain demand forecasts in SAP APO, including customer forecasts, EPOS, stock management, promotional planning, and statistical models.
* Collaborate with Key Account Managers and customers for forecast accuracy.
* Support the S&OP process, ensuring quality of inputs and outputs.
* Assist in resolving supply chain issues with Supply Planning.
Skills & Requirements:
* Experience in demand planning, preferably in FMCG.
* Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP APO/IBP systems.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
* Interpersonal skills and customer-facing experience.
