IT Product manager – Sports Domain
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering innovative IT solutions. As an IT Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our IT products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our IT products, including defining product vision, goals, and roadmap.
2. Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality IT products.
3. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Azure cloud and DevOps practices. Leverage this knowledge to guide product development, implement best practices, and ensure optimal performance and scalability of IT products.
4. Cloud Architecture: Possess a good understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
5. SaaS Products: Have a deep understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) products and business models. Leverage this knowledge to develop and optimize SaaS offerings, drive customer adoption, and maximize revenue opportunities.
6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technical vendors and third-party service providers. Evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
7. Project Management: Utilize excellent planning skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Project, to lead the end-to-end product development process. Define project milestones, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and sales teams, to gather feedback, communicate product updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
9. Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing materials, and coordinating with sales teams to drive adoption and achieve revenue targets.
10. Performance Analysis: Define key metrics and KPIs to measure the success of our IT products. Analyze product performance, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously improve user experience and drive business growth.
11. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to IT products. Ensure products adhere to relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience (15 years) as an IT Product Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully launching and managing IT products from concept to launch.
* Strong technical expertise in Azure cloud and DevOps practices.
* Background in the sports industry, specifically in managing products that support tournaments.
* Ensure our products deliver an exceptional user experience addressing the specific needs of tournament organizers
* Good understanding of cloud architecture principles and SaaS products.
* Experience with technical vendor management and contract negotiation.
* Excellent planning skills with proficiency in Microsoft Project.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
