Job Description
Clarence Recruitment are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a secondary school in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate music educator to inspire students across the secondary age range within a supportive and well-resourced department.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Music lessons, encourage musical creativity, and contribute to the wider cultural life of the school through performances and extracurricular activities. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs/NQTs, and overseas-trained teachers with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach a broad and balanced Music curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support extracurricular music activities, ensembles, and performances
Contribute to the development of the Music department and school events
Requirements
Applications are welcomed from candidates who have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Music
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
