We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English and Maths teacher to join our team at BT Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students and will be expected to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
* Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/carers.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
* Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the English and Maths curricula.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in English and Maths education and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) in English and Maths.
* Experience teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English and Maths.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
