Arable Farm Manager – Lincolnshire
£50,000 DOE + accommodation available + company vehicle.
The Job
A progressive and forward‑thinking farming business is seeking an experienced Arable Farm Manager to oversee a large‑scale arable operation in Lincolnshire. The role involves managing day‑to‑day operations while driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Full management of arable operations across a large‑scale farm.
* Planning and delivering cropping programmes to maximise yield and quality.
* Managing cultivation, drilling, spraying and harvesting operations.
* Overseeing machinery use, maintenance and investment planning.
* Leading and supporting farm staff and contractors.
* Managing crop inputs including fertiliser, sprays and seed.
* Ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety and assurance standards.
* Working closely with agronomists and senior management.
* Driving innovation, sustainability and best practice across the business.
The Candidate
* Proven experience in arable farm management.
* Strong technical knowledge of crop production and agronomy.
* Experience operating and managing modern farm machinery.
* Previous team management or supervisory experience.
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and inputs.
* Forward thinking with an interest in sustainable practices.
* PA1/PA2 (essential), BASIS (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence.
