Compliance Manager Salary: circa £50,000 per annum Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 37 hours/week Additional Benefits: Bonus up to 8%, Pension, Birthday Leave, Employee Assistance Programme, On-site Parking Our well-established client is looking for an experienced and proactive Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to join their growing team. Based at their Leatherhead office, this is a key role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll lead their compliance efforts across key accreditations, helping to ensure that their systems and operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with best practices in the construction, and engineering secto Your Responsibilities: * Compliance & Accreditation: Maintain and improve their adherence to ISO standards and key registrations * Policies & Procedures: Develop, review, and implement robust SHEQ policies * Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits; manage external audit prep and respond to findings. * Training & Awareness: Lead training on SHEQ policies and ensure team-wide understanding and engagement. * Risk & Documentation: Maintain detailed compliance records and carry out scheduled testing, audits, and risk assessments. * Collaboration: Act as the go-to person for SHEQ, working closely with all departments to drive improvement What You’ll Need to Succeed: * Degree-qualified, ideally with NEBOSH Certification (minimum requirement) * 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance or SHEQ role within construction or engineering * Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 * Skilled in MS Office, ATLAS, SharePoint, Sage, and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) * Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities * Able to work independently and influence at all levels What We Offer: * Up to 8% bonus annually * 23 days’ holiday your birthday off bank holidays * Company Pension Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) * Company social events (bi-annual company meetings, teambuilding, sports fixtures) * On-site parking * A genuine commitment to your development, wellbeing, and career progression We appreciate the time you took to apply for this vacancy, however due to the high level of applications that we receive, we can only respond to successful candidates.
