We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Reception Manager to oversee the daily operations of our esteemed establishment and its reception team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring exceptional guest services while managing staff and resources efficiently. As a Hotel Reception Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, Reservations and revenue control and allocation
* Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional service.
* Manage and supervise hotel reception staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
* Develop and implement reception operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on key performance indicators.
* Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate hotel reception personnel.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as industry standards.
* Promote the hotel through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
Requirements
* Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Experience in reception, revenue management and reservations
* Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
