You will provide financial insight, challenge, and support to drive performance, ensure compliance, and contribute to strategic decision‑making. This position blends technical accounting expertise with people leadership and strong stakeholder communication.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce timely and accurate monthly management accounts across a portfolio of contracts (approx. £58m revenue)Analyse and report financial results and operational KPIs, identifying and explaining variancesUtilise financial systems such as Workday, Tranman, PowerBI, and Adaptive PlanningLead, manage and motivate a team of 0–5 finance professionals, fostering accuracy and continuous improvement.Provide financial guidance to Regional and Business Unit Managers, challenging performance and supporting decision-makingSupport the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with operational leadsIntegrate sustainability and ESG considerations into financial planning and reportingContribute to tender processes for new business and contract renewalsOversee stock auditing and internal controls to safeguard company assetsBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, suppliers and customersConduct performance reviews, coaching team members to enhance both technical capability and business partnering skillsEnsure all finance processes comply with company policies and regulatory standardsWhat We’re Looking ForEssentialFully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)5+ years post‑qualification experienceExperience managing and developing peopleBackground working across multiple sites or contractsStrong commercial awareness and financial management skillsExcellent communication and relationship‑building abilitiesHigh proficiency in financial systems and data‑driven decision‑makingSolid experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisDesirableExperience working within multi‑site or contract‑driven environmentsKnowledge of sustainability finance and ESG integrationProject management experience or relevant qualificationWhat’s Next?Apply now and take the next step in a career where you can make a measurable impact.This organisation is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive workplace and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
