The Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic part time Kitchen Assistant to join our small, kitchen team on a casual basis hrs per week).
You'll support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in delivering a beautiful food service to our members and event clients. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
The hourly rate is £12.60 and we are very flexible with how the hours are split across the week. We are open Mon-Fri (8am until late) but there would be occasional weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Support food preparation under the direction of the Head Chef
* Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety standards
* Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
* Receive and store deliveries safely and efficiently
* Assist with stock rotation and daily cleaning routines
* Ensure health & safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
About You
* Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must have
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
* A food hygiene certificate would be great but essential as training will be provided
