We are seeking a dynamic Product Stream Leader (PSL) for Aerodynamics to join the Flight Physics Capabilities organization at Airbus. What You Will Do Operating within the Aerodynamics Domain—including Wind Tunnel and Icing—you will balance domain strategy, operational management, and stakeholder engagement. Strategic Leadership & Roadmapping Define the Future: Initiate and co-create the multi-year capability strategy and tactical roadmap for Aerodynamics and Wind Tunnel disciplines. Drive Business Value: Generate compelling business cases for future developments to present to the Capability Strategy Forum. Secure Investment: Advocate for capability needs with external stakeholders to secure necessary budget agreements. Lead subdomain strategies: drive continuous improvement of business processes, and ensure quality standards are upheld across the wider team. Operational Excellence Deliver Results: Manage the integration and operational development of Flight Physics Aerodynamics Capabilities, ensuring all projects hit their time, cost, and quality targets. Continuous Improvement: Oversee the ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement of all Flight Physics Aerodynamics tools within your perimeter. Manage Resources: Clear management of workloads and workforce needs to ensure all operational KPIs are successfully met. Stakeholder Management & Transnational Leadership Be the Voice of the Customer: Ensure constant technical and business alignment to represent the customer's voice outside of the core domain. Build Global Networks: Engage with a wide array of stakeholders across Aircraft Programs, Engineering, Digital, and Research & Technology (R&T). Inspire & Guide: Act as a key member of the leadership team, communicating with enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude to build trust across a transnational working environment. Champion Quality: Drive a "Right First Time" mindset and uphold high quality standards across the wider team. What You Bring ("Your Boarding Pass") Solid aerospace experience paired with a strong understanding of Flight Physics disciplines and Aerodynamics capabilities. Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to guide and direct activities without relying on hierarchical authority. Proven experience successfully leading projects across transnational environments. Expertise in various project management methodologies (both classical and agile) to secure successful delivery. A proactive, collaborative spirit with the ability to pragmatically solve complex operational conflicts. Exceptional communication and presentation skills to persuade and influence individuals. English proficiency at a negotiation level. Sound knowledge of operational project, business, and financial management practices. Advantageous: A project management certification.
