HGV Technician – Corby Area
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to join our team in the Corby area.
Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
The Role:
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles. You will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs
2. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
3. Complete all job cards and associated paperwork accurately
4. Ensure all work meets DVSA and company standards
5. Work effectively as part of a team to minimise vehicle downtime
Requirements:
6. Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
7. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
8. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
9. HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
10. Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
