Position: SEN Primary Teacher at TieTalent
Location: Hambrook School, Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15 8HZ
Employer: Outcomes First Group / Hambrook School (Options Autism)
Salary: Up to £44,310 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Start date: September 2025
Eligibility: UK applicants only – this role does not offer sponsorship
Note: 4-Day Working Week Trial may apply; 80% of contractual hours for 100% pay; subject to probation and not a contractual benefit
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering exciting, creative lessons that engage and inspire
* Monitoring and assessing students’ progress, ensuring personal development and wellbeing are prioritised alongside academic achievement
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing, effective learning environment
* Using innovative approaches to bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom
Who We’re Looking For
* Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Passionate about teaching pupils with SEN, particularly autism and complex needs
* Creativity, patience, and dedication to the classroom
* Clear, compassionate communication with pupils, families, and professionals
* Enjoys collaborative work as part of a caring team
About Us
Hambrook School is in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We opened in September 2023 and secured an Ofsted “Good” rating in seven months. All pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and an EHCP. We are part of Outcomes First Group and provide care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We aim to offer a structured, nurturing curriculum and a flexible, safe environment.
