Your new companyWe are seeking a Facilities Assistant to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for a commercial contractor. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that supports day-to-day Centre operations, building maintenance activity, and the smooth running of teaching and public spaces.Your new roleMaintain a safe, tidy, and secure central environment at all times.Serve as a Health & Safety point of contact, including fire warden duties and support with fire drills.Respond to ad-hoc maintenance issues, liaising with contractors and ensuring RAMS, permits, and supervision are in place.Conduct regular security, fire, and health & safety checks, reporting issues as required.Manage noise levels during the day to ensure teaching is not disrupted.What you'll need to succeedExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership abilities and team-focused attitude.Ability to build rapport with students and staff.Calm under pressure with strong decision-making skills.Enhanced DBS is required for this role.What you'll get in returnLong-term contract with a well-established company.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
