The Role:
Location: London based office, some homeworking option (1 day a week)
Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Experience: 3+ years in software QA, including automated testing.
Sector: Accessibility, Inclusive Tech, Ecommerce SaaS
We're looking for an experienced QA Lead with experience in Accessibility Testing, strong automation skills and a passion for quality. You'll help ensure our product is robust, user-friendly, and accessible to all. While deep accessibility testing expertise isn't required, some prior exposure is preferred—and we'll provide support to build your skills further.
Responsibilities:
* Write and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
* Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and UI tests
* Identify and troubleshoot issues early in the development cycle
* Perform accessibility testing using tools like Axe, Lighthouse, or WAVE
* Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers
* Support manual testing to validate critical edge cases and accessibility behaviors
* Completing reports for clients explaining accessibility status and testing results
Requirements
Preferred Experience:
* 3+ years in software QA, including automated testing
* Familiarity with test frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Jest etc.)
* Exposure to accessibility testing tools and concepts (e.g. WCAG, screen readers, keyboard navigation)
* Strong debugging and communication skills
* Experience testing web-based products across browsers and devices
* Understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows
* Accessibility "WCAG" awareness and testing experience
Nice to Have:
* Experience conducting accessibility audits or contributing to accessible frontends
* Background in frontend or full-stack development
* Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
