Overview
Salary: £26,045 – £28,845 per annum, plus benefits. Full‑time, permanent. 37 hours per week. Location: Paignton, Devon.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching across a range of automotive programmes.
* Assess student progress through formal and informal methods.
* Contribute to curriculum development.
* Support students’ pastoral and welfare needs.
* Commit to professional development and stay up to date with subject knowledge.
* Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners.
* May work across different locations within the college catchment area.
Qualifications
* Relevant training and qualifications to at least Level 3 in the Automotive (light vehicle) discipline.
* Hands‑on experience in the automotive sector.
* Confidence in inspection, diagnostics and repair processes.
* Solid understanding of equipment commonly used in modern workshops.
* Strong communication skills; able to engage with students of all age groups.
* Ability to deliver and assess underpinning knowledge both in classroom and workplace settings.
