We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Dyce!
We are looking for those who can design and develop electrical systems for new and existing equipment, producing electrical design outputs in line with project requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What we are looking for:
* Degree qualified in relevant field (Electrical Engineering)
* Engineering experience in electrical / mechanical equipment design and manufacture
* Design development of new products / technology
* Providing engineering solutions to design problems
* 2D CAD Systems
* Knowledge and expertise in Electrical Design Engineering
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Working knowledge of Machinery Directive
* Working knowledge of ATEX Directive
* Proficient in hand calculations for verification of design suitability
* Working to tight deadlines
* Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
* Good team player with sound interpersonal skills
* Driving Licence
It would be advantageous to have experience with 3D CAD Systems, Autodesk Inventor and NORSOK Standards. However, this is not essential.
Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Compressed working week available)
