Senior Town Planner – Derbyshire (Part-time) About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Senior Town Planner to join a dynamic planning consultancy delivering projects across England and Wales. This part-time hybrid position offers flexibility, with a base located just outside Sheffield alongside opportunities for remote working. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and managing planning activities across a diverse range of projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit planning applications. Undertake site appraisals and planning assessments. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders. Provide strategic planning advice across a variety of developments. Manage planning projects from inception through to determination. Ensure compliance with relevant UK planning legislation and policy. About You Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a planning role. Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Professional, organised, and proactive approach to work.
